The name Fêlë-qeg̈ê Fêqê is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Fêlë-qeg̈ê Fêqê was founded by Fyêtco Zlkdonm, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Overview

Fêlë-qeg̈ê Fêqê was founded durring the late 12th century in summer of the year 1099, by Fyêtco Zlkdonm. The establishment of Fêlë-qeg̈ê Fêqê was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Fyêtco Zlkdonm struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Fêlë-qeg̈ê Fêqê as a prison colony.

Fêlë-qeg̈ê Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fêlë-qeg̈ê Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Fêlë-qeg̈ê Fêqê is buildings are arranged arround a network of narrow paverstone streets which form a diagonal shaped grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks, spikes, and fences to provide some protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. Astonishigly, the minimaly adiquite are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

Fêlë-qeg̈ê Fêqê is not quite well. Something happened here, perhapse recently, perhapse long ago. Whatever it was, it settled into the very soul of the town like a festering wound. The people go about their day well enough, but there’s a tention in the air you can cut with a knife. There’s a patern to the panic. It’s not easy to see, and no one quite agrees on what it is, but the locals know and operate under this pattern. It shapes everything they do, and you feel as if you’ve almost worked it out only for some small detail to devastate your theory every time you try and comprehend it.

Fêlë-qeg̈ê Fêqê's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its functional shapes, abstract shapes used sparingly for decor, simple color schemes, holistic design, and basic industrial materials. Its simple designs were created to be beautiful, functional, and mass-producible. The style used little to no embellishment or ornamentation, instead drawing attention to the streamlined design, such as flat roofs to create a simple, geometric look. The simplicity masks the style's nearly sinister functionality, as every last feature is designed to guide the people living in the building in how to make the most efficient use of the structure.

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century a great windstorm struck Fêlë-qeg̈ê Fêqê. Its winds were so great they picked up unsecured objects and flung them with enough force to smash brick and skull alike. Buildings collapsed under the gale, burying countless people alive. The storm's devistation was focused on the area arround Fêlë-qeg̈ê Fêqê, which lost 183 people, 350, and 50 livestock in the disaster.. History remembers the strom as The Storm of Dread.

History
